Hi. Sorry Stormy isn't doing well. We can't tell you what the clear fluid was without an exam, and more information. Could be saliva, which drooling can occur during seizures. There are many causes of seizures. Idiopathic epilepsy, the most common cause of seizures is an inherited disorder, but its exact cause is unknown. Other causes include liver disease, kidney failure, brain tumors, brain trauma, or toxins. Seizures often occur at times of changing brain activity, such as during excitement or feeding, or as the dog/cat is falling asleep or waking up. Affected cats and dogs can appear completely normal between seizures. It's best to get an exam as soon as possible.
