Is it normal for my cat with kidney disease to pee after fluids?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 8 lbs

My cat has kidney problems, I noticed that after we give him fluids (15-20 minutes a day) he goes straight to urinate,is this normal please? Thanks

Hello. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Yes, this can be normal behavior. He probably already has a full bladder before you give the fluids and then when you add in the extra fluids he needs to urinat right away. I would not be worried about this at all. Hope this helps.
