My dog can't swallow, has fever & swollen throat. Emergency vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 6 years and 5 months old | 25 lbs

Rocky is having a hard time swallowing and has a fever. He ate and drank an hour ago about an hour ago he had this fever and a swollen throat all day do I need to take him to an emergency vet or will it be ok to take him tommorow

My concern would be that if he is having a hard time swallowing then it could progress to having a hard time breathing. Should this happen while you are sleeping it could be catastrophic. I would encourage you to have him evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
