Puppy heaving, swallowed beach water, now vomiting bile. What to do?

My puppy is almost 10 weeks.. i know i shouldn’t have but we went to the beach today with a friends dog to play, i made sure she didn’t eat anything she shouldn’t have, we went swimming and i believe she swallowed some water, once we got home she seemed fine until about 10pm she started heaving but her mouth wasn’t opened and her stomach was moving too, she didn’t throw up, i was woken up at 3am by her doing this again but this time a small amount of clear bile came out. i havent given her water. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 2 months and 9 days old | 40 lbs

As long as you have started her vaccinations then I wouldn’t think that you have done anything wrong. She may have consumed a little too much salt water, or it could be completely unrelated. I would consider feeding her a bland diet such as boiled chicken and rice his morning. However, if she doesn’t eat or if she vomits it up then she should be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
