My dog has bald spots on his face and body. Is it mange or something else?

I've begun to see bald spots over his face and body over the past week.. What may be the reason and cure? Thanks :). Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | 5 months and 4 days old | 4 lbs

Hello. This may be nothing at all, or it might be demodectic mange. I would check with your veterinarian who may tell you to wait things out & see if Brownie outgrows this, or if he may need to be treated. If he is not very itchy, then I just like to let him mature a few months & see if the skin clears on its own. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
