My lab has been scanned and is in whelp with a suspected singleton. What are the chances of her whelping successfully on her own?

Congrats Emma! As long as the stud doesn't have a big block head causing the puppy to have a head larger than her birth canal, she should deliver the puppy easily. This is also saying mom and the fetus are healthy. I would discuss with your vet the things to look for around her delivery date and how to help her during the process. Dogs can deliver without assistance, and typically like to be left alone for the process. Good luck and kisses to Emma!
