My 10-year-old Golden Lab's testicles are black. Is this normal?

It is not unusual for the scrotum to darken slightly with age, but I agree that this is a marked change. I would encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon to make sure there are no signs of infection or cancer. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.

    This could be just normal hyperpigmentation from aging. If the area isn't causing him to lick or be bothered and it doesn't look inflamed or irritated, I would just watch it. If it seems to bother him or is getting worse, I would have your vet take a look to just make sure there isn't any other concerns. I hope this helps!
