Poor Hurah! I can't see his eye very well in this photo, but any cloudiness is always cause for concern. Depending on the specific part of the eye that looks cloudy, this could be caused by glaucoma, a corneal scratch or ulcer, a severe eye infection, or cataracts. I would definitely recommend taking Hurah in to see a vet as soon as you are able to. He/she can examine the eye using a special stain if needed to help diagnose the problem and get him started on appropriate treatment.

A scratch on Wendy's eye is enough to cause inflammation and irritation that can cause cloudiness in all or part of her cornea. Wendy should be examined by her vet today or tomorrow at the latest. Her vet will be able to perform a fluorescein stain that will highlight the scratch, helping to determine its depth. From there, an appropriate eye medication will be prescribed. Until you can take her in, make sure she wears an e-collar (cone) at all times to prevent any rubbing/scratching of the eye because this can make any existing injury much worse.

Than you for submitting your question regarding Beau. Based on your description, it sounds like he be receiving treatment for a corneal ulcer. This is a scratch across the surface of the eye. In this case, the cloudiness is swelling of the cornea. The vessels are coming in to help heal the lesion. If this is in fact his problem, there is an eye drop available to help reduce the cloudiness of the eye. Typically the vessels resolve as the eye heals. However, a small scar may remain. You may ask your veterinarian for a prescription for the drop. It is a very concentrated form of saline. If he is experiencing a different problem, then you may want to submit your question again with more information. I hope this helps!

Poor Hitch! This sounds like a worry for sure! The scratch might have healed, but the eye itself has been damaged. The cloudiness sounds like cornea edema, which happens when tissue fluid gets trapped in the outer surface of the eyeball. And the fact that the eyeball looks bigger to you, is not a great sign. I would suggest that you have him checked over as soon as possible. If you have an E collar (a "cone"), it would be a great idea for him to wear, to prevent him damaging the eye further. Best of luck!
