Can I bathe my dog with leg pain before his vet appointment?

Can I bathe him even though his not feeling well due to the pain his feeling on his legs? We are going to the vet on tuesday so i'm torn whether i'm gonna bathe him or not. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 2 months and 29 days old | 6.61 lbs

If the legs are sore, you can place a towel or rubber mat down on the shower floor so that he does not slip. I hope this helps!
