My dog is on antibiotics but still peeing. What else can help?

My dog keeps urinating on herself and I have taken her to the vet she’s on biomox he told me she had a infection I just want to know what else I can do to make her feel better and so she can be back to her Normal way I think she has bacterial vaginitis. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 15 years old | 24 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. If she is on an antibiotic, continue the full course. It may take several days to see a response / improvement on the antibiotic. If you think she is in any pain or there is blood in her urine, an anti-inflammatory medication such as Rimadyl or Metacam may help. I would call your veterinarian and discuss this further so that Jenna can get a prescription for either. I hope this helps!
