Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 6 days old | 8 lbs
Hi there. I have a 4 month old Boston Terrier puppy that seems to have an enlarged heart, which is what showed on his X-rays. I read a lot of the symptoms fro DCM online and he doesn't seem to have most of them.. He does, however, vomit every solid food I give him. I usually smash his three meals otherwise he will vomit it. He is also allergic to every food he's tried except for the one I'm giving him now. I am very worried this might be fatal. Does this sound like DCM?

No, DCM is an enlarged heart with weak muscles. There is usually difficulty breathing and lethargy with coughing and often times your vet can hear a murmur or pulmonary edema Have you had a board certified radiologist review the xrays? Bostons, like most short nosed dogs, do not have a true enlarged heart, it just looks enlarged due to confirmation but is normal for their breed. The radiologist can also check the esophagus. At his age, vomiting after every meal is suspicious of a megaesophagus. I think you need more testing such as an echo and ultrasound to determine the source of your problems
