Hello my dears! I have a few Canary Birds of Norwich breeds. They want to hatch. Which one of you has enough information about this Canary Breed and who is keeping them too? Thank you so much

Canary breeding can be successful with the proper cage, diet, light and temperature. An adequately sized cage, at least 24"x16"x16", is necessary. A basket nest or nesting cup and nesting material should be provided for the hen. The breeding season begins in late March. Hens will lay a clutch of 4-5 eggs spaced 1-2 days apart then incubate for about 2 weeks before hatching. Chicks will remain in the nest for about 3-4 weeks before emerging to begin eating seed and exploring the cage. Be sure you have a market for canary chicks prior to breeding or you may quickly find yourself overwhelmed with little birds. breeding can also be done to improve the species and for competition. There are many websites and videos regarding breeding canaries online, however the best resource would be to speak with a local bird breeder.
