My dog has diarrhea after switching to a 5-star grain-free food, why?

My boxer/Dane was eating Purina dog chow for a while. He is 2 years old and now I switched him to American Journey grain free food and he’s been having bag diarrhea. Before I bought the food I saw it had 5 stars and very good reviews. Can you please help explain why this would happen? Thank you!

Hello. It is strange to say from an internet source, but do not believe everything you read on the internet. I would switch your dog back to the Purina. It is one of the best foods from one of the most reputable companies out there. The only foods most veterinarians will recommend are the only companies that provide the proof & research that goes into making safe & complete diets. These are Purina, Science Diet & Royal Canin.
