Is Blue Buffalo Urinary Weight Control food right for my cat's UTI?

I have a question about my little mans needing to be put on a urinary care diet I am getting food from the vet for the first time but I want to actually see about putting little man on the blue urinary diet Wu which is urinary weight control food is this enough is this going to do what it needs to do for him because I know the blue and blue is supposed to be a very good food which is what I am feeding them regularly now. I want to make sure he is going to be okay I took him for a test for a UTI. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 17 lbs

I would recommend using the food that Lil Man's vet recommend, at least at first. Once the issue is under control, you could consider experimenting with other diets. It could be fine, but better to start with the diet that your vet is comfortable with and feels will be helpful based on their experience.
