How do I hand-raise a newborn orphaned puppy with eyes closed?

Good day doc how are you doing my name is Quintin and i just want it to know if i can get some help with a very small pup it has mother because it die. The small pup eyes are not even open as yet so its my first time trying to do my best in what i can do so please help

Hi Quintin! Thank you for contacting Pet Coach with your question about your newborn puppy. If his eyes are not open, then he is very young. Hand raising a newborn puppy is very time intensive, and unfortunately it's not always successful because they are so fragile. First thing you need to do is go out to a pet store and get some puppy formula. Cow's milk is not appropriate for a puppy. I recommend the KMR brand of puppy formula, you may be able to get it at your grocery store or your vet's office should have puppy formula. You will also need a small bottle to feed him. Hello, the newborn puppy I have got resuced. The mother was not there, because the owner took the mother way. He is also a runt and staved, the owners fed him hotdogs.
Bones is adorable and so lucky that you rescued him. I am attaching a link to a handout below on raising an orphan. https://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=576 First, get Bones some puppy formula. You should be able to find this at a pet food store. The handout has instructions on feeding. This will give Bones the nutrition he needs and prevent dehydration. Next, puppies younger than 3 weeks of age need stimulation to urinate and defecate. Again, this is discussed in the handout. I would recommend contacting your veterinarian and have them evaluate Bones as soon as possible to make sure there aren't any medical problems or anything else that you need to be doing for him at this point. I have a 11 day old chihuaha weighing 3ozs. She was only pup. She is female. Mamas milk has dried up I'm am suplimenting formula but she is bad dehydrated and eyes are not open
Puppies’ eyes usually do not open until about 14 days of age. At 11 days of age, Baby girl would need to be bottle fed Puppy Milk Replacer at least every 2 hours until about 6 weeks of age, and stimulated to urinate/defecated several times a day with a hypoallergenic baby wipe in the genital area (mother dogs usually stimulate their pups to urinate, defecate by licking them down there). I recommend bringing the puppy to your veterinarian for an evaluation as young puppies are extremely susceptible to hypothermia and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), in addition to dehydration if not fed every 2 hours. They may recommend subcutaneous fluids and possibly offer medical day boarding where their techs can feed Baby girl for you while you are at work (likely pricey though for several weeks). Good luck!

They need feeding every few hours. If you feel like he is very weak, then I would recommend an exam by a veterinarian to be sure there isn't a medical cause for his weakness. They can look him over and be sure he is healthy, and help show you how to feed him and stimulate him to go to the bathroom if that is a problem for him.

I have a newborn puppy. He doesn’t have his mom he crys a lot and walks around. I don’t know if he’s sick or not. He eats really fast.
Thanks for using Boop by Petco. Your little guy needs very frequent feeding (every 2 hours) and is also likely looking for a warm body to snuggle up against. Also don't forget to stimulate him to defecate and urinate before and after every feeding. It's best to get dog milk replacer for them. This can be found at the pet store. If you are not able to find it, then you can feed cow or goat milk instead, but it is not as good for them. My 2 daughters found a baby kitten and both of its eyes are closed shut and also how to and what to feed it .?

How lovely of you to look after this kitten! Newborns kittens are extremely fragile and require round the clock care. First thing you need to do is get a kitten formula. I'm not sure if you can get KMR brand in India, but I would recommend that if you can find it, it's an excellent formula. Newborn kittens cannot last long without food, so find some kitten formula immediately. It's also very important to keep it warm at all times.
