Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. Certainly with values as elevated as these are I am concerned about the kidney impairment due to this infection. Her protein is now on the decline as well which indicates further that her kidneys are now leading to a protein loss. Winter really needs to be hospitalized on continuous 24 hour IV fluids to hep reduce these levels and continue the antibiotic IV therapy until she responds as well as anti-vomiting medications to keep her comfortable. This infection does not respond right away in every case but it is very important that she receive adequate IV fluid therapy and antibiotics. I hope Winter gets better soon. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
