Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 5 days old | 12 lbs

Doctor check the photos I've attached. Is the legs of my lab up to the standards ? Or is there any issue for me back legs are quite small. My puppy is a certified for purebred but I need to know whether she is healthy or it there a bred impurity. Please look and tell me whether this is perfect standard purebred or are they any problem let me know all of it. As i cannot reply back.

Nothing seems abnormal based on this pictures but that does not replace a good exam. If you are worried about confirmation or a bone problem then she needs to see a vet. They can actually move her legs evaluate the joints and bones to make sure there are no problems. If indicated they can even do an X-ray although she is too youn for hip dysplasia to show up

This could be normal, or could be a sign that he's not using his muscles well in his back legs. I would recommend taking a few videos of him walking around, and then scheduling an appointment with his vet to have an orthopedic exam and review your videos. Issues such as hip dysplasia can show up in dogs as young as Lucky. Best of luck, I hope all is normal!
