I have an 8 or 9 month old female guinea pig and I didn't know I had a male until I saw them mating, then I was thinking oh no, and it got worse when I read online that she is to old for a first time mom. Can you help please. Pet's info: Small Animal | Unknown - Small Animal | Female

Well, there is certainly risk if she is pregnant. Although, I have had 2 guinea pig patients who have whelped safely later in life, so there is hope. You can also consider having a c-section, or spaying her before the pregnancy progresses. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
