My cat ate a toothpick, vomited it, and acts normal. Is it okay?

I have two cats. One of them must have eaten a toothpick yesterday (or possibly Monday night). I just found the vomit this morning - it was a hairball with the full toothpick in it broken in half. There wasn't any blood. I'm not sure which cat it was. Both are acting normal and ate normal last night and this morning.

Cats do definitely eat strange things sometimes! Since it sounds like your kitty has vomited up the toothpick and both are acting normal right now, I wouldn't be too concerned. If either of them starts to show any signs of a problem, like not eating, acting lethargic, or continued vomiting, then it would be best to take the affected cat in to the vet for an exam.
