I have a 4 month old puppy and my vet told me to get a heartworm test at 6 months. Should I begin to give her heartworm preventatives or should I just wait until after the heartworm test? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 2 days old | 28 lbs
