Should I restrict my active pregnant dog's movement during pregnancy?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 59 lbs

Soska got matted and i knew that it will appear after a month if she is pregnant or not but i will suppose she is pregnant and this is her first month i wanted to know should i put her in a cage or chain her to limit her move to help the pregnancy to be stable or i should leave her free as normal and she will be calm when she need this calmness?? Note: She runs and she is very active

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I wouldn't push the exercise (no dog parks, running with you for mile, too long chasing balls) but I would let her do light activity as much as she wants. She can run. Personally I do not think you need to cage her or chain her up. She will slow down close to delivery on her own. I hope this helps!
