Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | 56 lbs

My dog has these clearing looking clusters of skins tags? I would call them on her legs and under her arms.. armpit area. we had another dog years ago with the same thing. any idea what these could be? I can't find any pictures similar to what I am seeing on her. I mean the look like little tics but aren't. Thanks

Hello, these look like acrochordons plaques, possibly from microtrauma ( does Tipsy wear a harness ?), or from an irritation stemming from bacteria, yeast, or skin mites. I would recommend an examination of the skin with skin scrapes & cytology, & if nothing is found, perhaps rule out food allergy with a trial hypoallergenic diet.
