When should i stop crate training my cat, i've been adopting her for around 3 weeks now, and now i only put her in her crate only when we're all sleeping at night and in the morning we let her free outside her cage in the house, but every time i put he inside the crate she'll start to meowing probably for less than 10 minutes, am i doing something wrong? Is it okay to crate her while we're all asleep, and for how long is it okay to do that?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I don't think many people crate their cats beyond the "getting used to the new house" period. If Cecile is destructive or may hurt herself or ingest something it is best to crate her. I thin if you want to to start letting her out at night now and she knows where her food/water and litter boxes are. I do know people who have confined their cats for their entire lives at night. So it is a personal decision for you. I hope this helps!
