Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 12 days old | 7.2 lbs
I gave my dog cold milk and then read online that I shouldn’t. What should I do now? She started shaking after but it stopped after a minute.

The only concern with milk is that it's not well-digested by adults and can lead to diarrhea. While Sakura should be off of milk by now (I see that she is over four months old), she likely has digestive enzymes for it and should be able to tolerate it well. The fact that it was cold is not too concerning for hypothermia in a dog this age, but she appears to be quite small (3.4lbs), so she it makes sense that she would get a chill from drinking a fair amount of cold fluid. However, as long as she's warm and acting normal, there's nothing else that needs to be done and she should be fine. If you have further questions or need further clarification, then you may consider having an online consult with one of our vets on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. This way, you can send unlimited pictures and have a text conversation with a vet. I hope that helps and all is well with Sakura.
