Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 3 months old | 14 lbs
We were Washing our dog and he coughed a bit... He seems fine after that but he's been taking long deep breaths while sleeping.. like 10 breaths a minute.. how do I know no water is in there? Any help?

That is actually a normal number of breaths for a dog who is deeply sleeping. As long as he's not on death's door, respiratory disease (including fluid in the lungs) would increase his respiratory rate. Over 30 breaths per minute is the cut off. If he keeps coughing, I would recommend getting him checked out, but what you're describing sounds fine tonight.
