My pet mice are having too many babies. How do I stop breeding?

Hi I have mouse called Mimi she lives with other mice ones had litter of eight one died left seven but I not sure where the other three r so there's five babies left they seem to be having litters

Mice are prolific breeders. Gestation is about 3 weeks and they can reproduce throughout the year having 5-10 litters each year. Separating males from females is necessary to stop breeding. Females can breed at 3 weeks of age, so it is important to separate them prior to this age.
