Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | unneutered
My bird that I just recently got who is 2 years old, I have had him for about 3 months and some mornings I’ll wake up to him sniffling and there will be discharge all down his beak. And I’ll take him out of his cage and wipe his beak of and I’ll see as he breathes there’s discharge bubbles coming out of his nose. And it does seem to get better though out the day. Any idea what’s going on?

The amount of discharge stated is concerning. The symptoms described may indicate infection or respiratory disease. To be safe, Piper should be examined by your veterinarian or an experienced avian vet. Xrays and a culture of the discharge may be indicated to diagnose illness or infection.
