My dog's claw is broken, sideways, and looks infected. What can I do?

Hi need some advice my dog a week ago split her claw we bandaged up took some claw of had vet check said wud me ok givin disimal cream told keep clean change bandages was doin but was making worse bleeding thow so left to air keeping clean applied cone to stop liking but now claw is pointing sideways n looks infected I cnt gt her seen by a vet until wed even thow sh is insured they wonte take a deposit . Iv studied animal care tried most things I can think is anything more I can do help? Thanks

The only thing left is to try to soak it in warm water to see if that helps loosen it. If the nail is broken and side ways it will likely need to be removed and bandaged for 24 hours then let it dry out. This often is enough to let it heal unless it is infected and then you will need antibiotics.
