How to help an old dog with vestibular syndrome who can't stand?

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | unspayed | 15 years and 3 months old | 43 lbs

I have a 15 yrs old boxer that has been diagnosed with a severe ear infection and vestibular syndrome. The 1st two days she would only take water but using a syringe.Day 3 she started picking her head up n eating chicken n rice now day 5 she tries to get up but can't I've tried to help her but she panics and starts throwing her head around towards the side of the bad ear infection but she's stressing herself out because she wants to get up but she can't and I don't know what to do

Contact your veterinarian and request medication for motion sickness. This may help alleviate Ginger's symptoms. Once the ear infection is under control, the vestibular symptoms may begin to abate. Continue treating the ear as directed by your veterinarian. You can provide support using a large towel or sheet and sling it under her chest and abdomen. Hold the ends as if you were gripping luggage and keep Ginger's body against your legs to provide additional support and assurance.
