My cat's nipple is sticking out. Is it a lump? Should I see a vet?

Hi. I have a cat that's about 10 years old. A while back when I was petting his belly I noticed something and when I moved his fur out of the way, I saw one of his nipples looked strange. The rest of them are flat and this one stick out. I was hoping you could tell me if it's something I should be concerned about and if I should take him back to his Vet to have it looked or if it's nothing. The last time we were there, I believe he had bloodwork and an X-ray which was fine.

Hi there, I would have your vet check Milo. It's nothing urgent, but it could be a small mass that is growing around the nipple and it may need to be removed. Your vet can test the area first and tell you what the next best step is. I hope that helps and thanks for using Pet Coach!
