Why does my cat sneeze green snot? Is it chronic URI from kittenhood?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 years and 3 months old | 10 lbs

My cat has been having sneeze attacks with yucky green mucous been doing this for a very long time he is 7 years old and he was treated for a severe URI as a kitten could this be long term effects of having a URI as a kitten? otherwside he is a healthy happy normal weight cat he also doesn't get runny eyes or runny nose its just the random sneeze fits with the green snot.

Yes, chronic sinus issues are very common in cats which have a history of severe URT infections. Steam therapy can be helpful to loosen the mucus and protracted courses of antibiotics can be helpful if he becomes rundown or unwell from it.
