Mom dog missing: Can I make homemade milk for 2-week-old pups?

I have 6 2 week old beagle pups we let the mom out to potty and get some exercise she got off and we haven't seen her it's been 5 hours wat should I do and can I make a homemade milk

Oh no, I'm sorry the mother hasn't come back! Homemade milk should only be used once in an emergency, and with a specific recipe. The puppies would be due for a feeding now (they should be fed every two hours), so run to the grocery store right away and get some puppy formula and a bottle. I recommend the KMR brand of puppy formula, it's excellent. I will also put a link below on how bottle feed puppies, which includes a recipe for homemade milk. At two weeks they are able to eat both semi solid foods and puppy milk formula, they are likely willing to lap and may not need syringe feeding. More than likely she will return to feed them, they should start gradual weaning from now even if she does in case she wanders again!

How much do i feed my one week old puppy mom wont feed them
First, I would definitely recommend having the litter and mom examined by your vet - there are a number of health problems that could be making the dam reject the puppies. In general a one week old puppy should be eating about 22-30 ml of commercial puppy milk replacer (such as Esbilac) per day, and should be fed every 2-3 hours. Can we feed 6 days german shepherd puppies with powdered milk of cow?because they are very weak and unable to drink mother's milk.
There are commercial puppy formulas that are the best option, but there are some homemade puppy formulas as well. I am attaching a handout below on caring for orphan puppies. https://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=576 It recommends the following formula for puppies if a commercial formula is not available. "Makeshift Formula until Commercial Formula can be Obtained Puppies 1 cup whole milk 1 tsp. salad oil 1 drop multi-vitamins (if you have any) 2 egg yolks" Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Hi there! There are several milk replacement formulas in the market that even though they are not as good as the puppy's mother's milk, they still provide an adequate nutrition to the puppy. There are several good brands you can get from your local pet store. Good luck!

My pitbull has escaped her outside kennel and left her 1 week old puppies will she return to feed them.
It would be best to try and find Princess ASAP as she may be lost and unable to return home. Making sure to contact your local shelter and give them any information such as microchip numbers, descriptions, etc is best. It is also a good idea to buy some KMR or puppy formula and bottles ASAP as puppies will need to be fed every few hours to stay healthy and active, and you may not get your dog back in time. Having some on hand in case you need to assist with nursing or if your dog escapes again is also a good idea.

How lovely of you to take in this dog and her puppies! If they cry all the time, then they may not be getting the milk they need to survive and I would start caring for them yourself. You will need to get a puppy milk replacer such as KMR from a pet store or supermarket right away. I will put a link below on how to raise orphan puppies. It's best to get dog milk replacer for them. This can be found at the pet store. If you are not able to find it, then you can feed cow or goat milk instead, but it is not as good for them. My dog cheenu gave birth to 6 pups among them 2 are not drinking milk nd their body is becoming cold. What does that mean what to do?? Please reply fast it is urgent.
These pups will need to be given supplemental heat through a heating pad. They will also need to be bottle fed with a milk replacement supplement. Everything you need should be able available to you through most pet stores or big-box stores. Newborn puppies will require bottle feeding up to every 2-3 hours for the first week or so of their life if they make it. Sometimes, the mother will reject the puppies if she senses they are sick in some way as well. Also, important to note that some puppies just fail to thrive and it isn't the fault of the mother or the person who is trying to care for them. Give it your best shot and best of luck!

If I can't find puppy milk what else can I use?
While there are some recipes available online they are not nutritionally balanced. Some people also will recommend using goats milk but it is also not ideal for a puppy's nutritional requirements and can cause either constipation or diarrhea. If you cannot find puppy milk replacer like Esbilac at a pet supply or feed store I'd recommend contacting a veterinarian near you. You can also order it online. Emergency veterinary clinics are often willing to sell milk replacer from their stock if you need it on an urgent basis.
