My cat hasn't eaten for days, vomited clear fluid. Is it serious?

My cat has been off his food a few days now, he normally clears the bowl bit is only picking at his food now and he was sick this morning, it was just clear fluid and he is his normal self. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 5 months and 11 days old

Shadow is a cutie. If he isn’t eating well for several days I strongly recommend a vet visit. Cats can stop eating whenever they don’t feel well which could be anything from a mild infection to a more serious disease. Since he has now started vomiting he may become dehydrated quickly. A veterinarian can perform a physical exam and then make recommendations on what other diagnostics or treatments they might recommend to help Shadow. I hope he’s better soon.
