Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 3.9 lbs
Hi, my dot has an upper respiratory tract infection which has came back. She is a 9 year old chihuahua with a history of allergies. We have spent over £6,000 on dermatology appointments and now the vet wants to run CT scan and X-rays at a cost of £1,000. I’ve explained I can’t afford this. Are these tests my only option? They won’t offer more antibiotics.

I would start with x Rays. The bulk of that price is for a Ct scan and you may find some answers or at least be able to say a few things it is not based on the x Rays alone. I would also talk about lab work to check for an infection
