My dog is in heat, not eating, and vomiting water. Is this normal?

Respected vetenarian, My dog is in mensus period. She is having a loss of appetite now .some how She drinks water but vomit it later. Is this common with this time ? Or any other problem is happening? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | 4 years and 5 months old

Hello, no this does not sound like a normal response to being in her period. If she continues to do this, develops yellow think discharge, abdominal pain that lasts more than 1 day, she should be evaluated by a veterinarian immediately. Hope this helps and best of luck.
