Pet's info: Dog | West Highland White Terrier | Female | spayed | 11 years and 4 months old | 25 lbs
My little Westie suddenly passed on Friday. I didn’t have any knowledge of any major problems with her. She was 11, ate really well, slept well and was never put off the idea of going for a walk. I have noted down a few symptoms that I now didn’t pay much attention too as none of them were major ever. I am just looking for answers as my grieving has been very difficult as I had no warning she was going to go. I know I can have a post moretom but I don’t want to mess with her now she is at peace

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I am so sorry to hear of Tully's untimely passing. It is always difficult to lose our furry friends as we become so close to them. It is difficult to say what the cause of her passing could be. She may have had heart disease, cancer or some other systemic illness. Certainly an autopsy would help rule out causes but even with an autopsy there is no guarantee you would find out what the cause was. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time as I know it is hard to say goodbye. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
