My adopted adult dog is unvaccinated. Does she need puppy shots?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 27 lbs

I adopted my dog when she was adult from street. She is not been vaccinated. She is adult 2 years age. I found out on the internet that puppies are vaccinated with a proper schedule and then once in every year. Do I need to vaccinated my adult dog by following the puppy schedule because she is not vaccinated when she was puppy.

Puppy vaccination protocol is performed to avoid the interaction with immunity coming from the mother. You can vaccinate him once as every other normal dog. Vaccinations will be against Distemper, Adenovirus, Leptospira, Herpesvirus, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza virus and Rabies. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
