My dog stumbles and shakes head. Are her ear issues an emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 3 months old | 161 lbs

Just had a question answered n I'm so sry my dog my whole world she my everything n says not a emergency n get her ears looked at Tomm cause seems like some sorta infection in ear m says not emergency unless neurological issues like stumbling or falling but sometimes while itching she stumbles or while shaking head??? Is that emergency please help asalp

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. Ear infections can affect the balance system which can lead to disorientation and a wobbly walk. Tomorrow for an appointment should be fine as what you are describing is not an emergency. When you see the vet tomorrow Pookie will be taken care of and will receive the most appropriate treatment.
