My bunny's tooth is loose and she's in pain. Is a vet visit needed?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 4.73 lbs

I have a 8m/o bunny. 2w ago, she had a fall, cut her lip and broke some of her teeth. I took her to the vet, they fixed her up & trimmed remaining teeth for functionality. Been off antibiotics for a week. All of a sudden today her top right incisor is loose, shes drooling and hunched in pain. Gave her leftover painkiller. Still eating pellets, pooping and likely drinking. She has perked up since the painkillers. I love her so much, but money is tight. Is it necessary for me to take her to a vet?

The loose incisor is probably from the previous injury. Since the pain medication helped and she is still eating and pooping, I think it is reasonable to continue giving the pain meds for a few more days and see how she does. If she stops eating or passing stool at any time you will need to take her in to be seen. Anorexia can be very dangerous in a rabbit, as I’m sure you know. I hope this helps. Best of luck with Cuddles. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
