Is it safe to give my puppy Imodium for diarrhea before a vet visit?

Pet's info: Dog | Cockapoo | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 28 days old | 6 lbs

6 pound , 12 week old cockapoo puppy has diarrhea. How much Imodium can I give him if any until the vet sees him?

It's actually not good to give Imodium for diarrhea unless advised by a veterinarian. Diarrhea is the body's way of getting rid of toxins, or bacteria/viruses/parasites that are causing harm. All Imodium does is prevent diarrhea, but does nothing to treat the cause of the diarrhea. I would not recommend giving Imodium unless Cooper was suffering from relentless diarrhea.
