My senior dog stares blankly and won't do tricks. What's happening?

My dog Harry is nine years old and he just stands and stares but after a while he lays down, he doesn't do his tricks anymore. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 40 lbs

He may be suffering from canine cognitive dysfunction. I would recommend that Harry be examined by a veterinarian and having his blood tested to rule out any other possible causes. I hope this helps!
