Why is my dog crying and licking after neuter? Is he in pain?

Hello! My name is Kevin. My pup got neutered on Saturday and has been crying since then. Each time he tries to walk, he'd sit and try to lick his sack. I'm worried that something may be wrong because I've been reading online and some people have said that their pup was better after 3 days. I wasn't given pain medication for him as well. Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | neutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 50 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Hunter! It sounds like Hunter has incisional irritation which can be from the surgery itself or from the clippers used to remove the fur. I would have him seen by the clinic that did the neuter to have the skin evaluated. He likely needs something to relieve the inflammation. I hope this helps and I wish Hunter the very best! Feel free to post a picture of the incision and skin around it.
