My female dog has recurring infections. Why does she lick so much?

Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Female | 8 years and 3 months old | 67 lbs

My female fixed amstaff has had multiple staph infections had a multiple tests thousands in vet bills surgery meds creams. They help for a while but always ends up chasing and licking her lady area. Ends up red swollen and sore. She eats limited ingredient blue basics. I'm frustrated with vet bills and always same problem. Help her please?

From that picture her cycle looks inverted which can trap bacteria and create more of an infection. I would get the infection cleared with antibiotics and wipe it every time she uses the bathroom. If it is severe enough there is a surgery they can do help correct the folds and prevent some of these issues. If her face and ears are not itching also I would be hesitant to call it a good allergy. I would however look into Apoquel for environmental allergies
