my dog has all of a sudden started this dry like cough last night and i dont know whats goin on. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 160 lbs

Poor Spike! Coughing can be caused from heart disease, upper respiratory infection (aka kennel cough), fungal infection, foreign body, and much more. Since it was so sudden and come on so acutely, I would have your vet take a look at him. Your vet will be able to determine the cause of the cough and get him started on the proper meds to help him be more comfortable and feel better. I hope this helps!
