Hi there, Hair balls typically cause vomiting or unproductive retching in cats. Sometimes they will vomit something up and other times they appear to be trying to vomit something up but nothing comes. I hope that helps and thanks for using Pet Coach!

Chronic vomiting in cats is usually not food related, it could be due to pancreatitis, IBD, lymphoma and kidney failure (among other things). it's very important that you take Ringella to the vet in order to get that checked, she will need to have a blood test done to start with in order to try and reach a diagnosis.

It's probably either a stomach bug or something they ate that is causing that. you will need to monitor them closely, if the vomiting does not resolve within a few days you will need to take them to the vet in order to get it checked and treated.
