I am sorry matcha is not feeling well. I would recommend trying to find a veterinarian and take him in as soon as possible. Vomiting with blood can happen secondary to gastric upset , toxins and even foreign material. It is best he gets looked to determine the cause and provide proper treatment. In the mean time I would offer good and a bland diet to help calm his stomach. I hope that helps

Hi there! Thanks for letting us take care of you today! There may be evidence of blood in the vomit. When there is evidence of blood in the vomit, that raises concern for things like a gastrointestinal ulcer, gastrointestinal tumor, severe gastroenteritis, foreign body ingestion, among other possibilities. Some tests that are usually run include bloodwork (CBC and chemistry panel +/- coagulation profile) and abdominal ultrasound. Thoracic/cervical radiographs may follow. Further diagnostics will be based on the findings up to that point. Treatment will be based on findings. Unfortunately, this cannot be treated at home and will require a visit to your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be fine with Snowflake!
