Hi! Thor had a bad day 4 days ago where he threw up liquid multiple times, would not eat and acted lethargic. He started eating normally and back to normal in the evening but had diarreah overnight multiple times. We gave him no food for 24h and then some white rice. He’s going between semi-solid to diarreah for the past 2 days. No blood in the stool and he is acting/eating normal but we can’t seem to get the diarreah solved. Advice?

His intestinal flora may be unbalanced. Try adding in a daily probiotic for 7-10 days to see if this helps return the stools to normal. I only recommend either a pet formulated probiotic such as Fortiflora or the over the counter Culturelle placed on the Food daily. If their is no improvement within 48-72 hrs however, then a vet visit is recommended to have Thor checked for intestinal parasites. At that point he may need a dewormer and antibiotics to help resolve his loose stools. I hope this helps and best of luck getting Thor’s stools back to normal. Take care.
