Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 13 days old | 7 lbs
My dog has vomited around 9 times in the space of about 4 hours. The first time he regurgitated his dinner from about 7 hours earlier, and since then he’s vomited white frothy bile. He seems quiet and unsettled in himself, and is whimpering on and off. Do I need to take him to the vets?

This is not specific to any disease, but indicates that something is either directly upsetting his stomach, or generally making him feel nauseous. The frothy bile doesn't tell much other than he is vomiting on an empty stomach. It's difficult to know how severe this is without evaluating him, but this is a great deal of vomiting and I worry about the whining as well. The safest bet would be to take him to the vet for an evaluation. They will at-least be able to give medication to make him feel better. For more information about vomiting, I recommend you read the article at the link below. https://www.petcoach.co/article/diarrhea-vomiting-in-dogs-when-to-call-your-veterinarian/ If you have further questions or need further clarification, then you may consider having an online consult with one of our vets on Petcoach. This way, you can send unlimited pictures and have a text conversation with a vet. I hope that helps and Ralph gets better soon.
