My 4-month-old puppy gets car sick. Are there effective solutions?

My 4 month old pup gets car sick really bad, to the point where she throws up multiple times even when she had nothing in her stomach. This make it hard to socialize her and she is falling behind. We don't have any dog parks close enough to walk to. Is there anything that can help her car sickness? I saw chews and car seats that say they help but is it really true? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 4 months old | 21 lbs

Hello, sorry to hear about Cleo. There are medications to control motion sickness, however Cleo may still be too young for these. You can consult with your veterinarian about prescribing medications to control her motion sickness. Some medications may include zofran, benadryl, or cerenia. Hope this helps and best of luck.
