Why is my Pug licking paws, losing hair, and has red eyes/tongue?

Hi there! My 5 year old Pug seems to have quite a red tongue and around his eyeball st the back is slightly red. He also has hair loss on his paws and licks and scratches them. Not sure what the problem is. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | neutered | 5 years old | 21 lbs

This sounds like allergies which are common in Pugs. It could be due to food, grass or outside things, or inside smoke or chemicals. I would have a veterinary exam to see if he needs treatment and they can give you a better idea of what to change to prevent this from continuing in the future.
